... old town, very pretty, very cold. Looked for Berstein (Amber) on the coast but did not find any. Walked our legs off again and had lunch, went to supermarket and home to a warm room. Going to hang out till dinner time, pack and sleep. Tomorrow we leave the island and head to Scwerin. Woke up about 9am to quickly get ready to catch the 10am bus into lübeck central city, where we would go shopping!! We each spent far too much, me buying MORE shoes! The biggest challenge so far (other than the wind) is trying to understand the language. As you will see in the pictures. Hugs to all of you Pete and Dena PS....really wish we could understand what the heck they are saying. So far all we got right is "beir". Beer that ...

Today, I went up to Hamburg to meet up with my mom's coworker's friend's daughter. She lives in Hamburg and is currently studying Fashion Management. We went and took a bus tour around the city which was mainly in German and I understood most of it! We then had lunch on the lake and walked around the city until she had to go to work.

I promise I will have more exciting things to write about this week!
