... we went for another drive in a different direction and managed to find a smaller ski slope which we could go on. It was already closed for the day but we went back there today. ... on the slope! Well, not really, they were just flattening the snow I think but they were all in time and there was music so it looked funny. I took a video to add to this too.
There was some other cool stuff we wanted to do nearby. We drove to a castle and past an ice cave but they were both closed. It seems like a lot of things here close for winter which is a shame, there has been plenty to see anyway though and staying here has been very nice.
... than we had seen them, great atmosphere. We each payed €2 for a lucky-dip in a swirling wind machine (and grab a piece of paper to reveal your gift), money going to cancer research. We agreed Riley was the big winner. That was our Christmas gift, done! We strolled home a long way round to see a little more of the town, arriving back at the hotel around 6. Last night in Salzburg. off the road to get passed you.
Austria is another country of great pride. You only have to drive through
their towns to realise that. Most towns have great and wonderfully painted
churches standing out in them and really look magnificent.
