The Beauty of Pag

... on the island, established in the 15th century. It is in close proximity of Zadar and its narrow, stone streets give off a medieval feel.

Taking a walk through the town, one of the most notable monuments you’ll pass by is the 15th century parish church, which is a combination of the Romanesque, Gothic and early Renaissance styles. Other sightseeing ...

On Monday I made my way to the bus terminal and although my bus ticket was all in Croatian, I guessed that the word "Peron" meant "Platform" and went to Peron 401. Absolutely knackered (as per), I returned to my hostel with a view ...

... were charging 25 per hour so I'm glad we had our own kit! We'd managed to find somewhere to park nearby by driving through a hotel car park onto a dusty windy track through trees. It just didn't feel like we were doing it the way hoards of visiting windsurfers must normally do it. Anyway, the sailing was lovely - clear warm water and a really steady wind. Unfortunately, it was cut slightly short by my boom breaking - that's two gone out of the three ...

A letter of appreciation to Croatia

... This is particularly exciting for someone who's previous festival experiences have revolved around the sensation of being pelted by bullets of rain and slapped in the face with wet mud for several days. Sorry, T in the Park, you will never be the same again.

After nearly a week spent on the incredible Zrce beach, there were several comparisons I could draw between this music festival hotspot and the almost deserted islands that I've visited ...
