Inside of a road side stop, we got to go into Dresden for a bit less than 2 hours. The city is really beautiful and the contrast between old and new is amazing. There is an old/new Church there and the reconstruction since it was destroyed in the war only finished a decade ago. ... than fifteen minutes late so there was no need to rush anyway. This was a faster train and mum kept pointing out the speed to me, sometimes getting up to over 200km an hour. We got to Munich just before three. Korbi ran up to the platform as we got to the end of it, perfect timing. ... some steep sections - luckily we were going down - as well as wider tracks weaving through trees starting to display autumn colours. I could understand why this was a popular area for bushwalking, and the Germans visit here frequently. To finish off a fairly tiring day, we spent a few hours in the thermal spring pool, a great way to ease tired muscles. I slept like a log that night.
