... People perhaps weren’t as friendly, and were slightly more reserved than some of the other European countries we have been to, but I certainly wouldn’t say they were rude or unapproachable. Many would nod or say hello. It was great to get a taste of Germany, and what a place this would have been to celebrate their WC win with them! If only we’d been there a week earlier! Never mind! I’m still glad our silly mix up sent us on our detour to Dresden!
