The seaside town they forgot to close down

... balcony overlooking the ocean which was really rough today. Got relaxed as Ian will not let me do anything I have to stay in bed all the time which is ok really as I dont feel that good and my eye does not look pretty enough to go out with. Did pop out and buy some tights though as the weather is now taking a turn for the colder both Ian and I were discussing going to Egypt as its warm ha ha but not really up for flying at the ...

Island Hopping in Croatia

... are still in the north and onto our second Island. Weather is superb and all the masses of tourists have gone home - so great pace..something about island life.

We have been eating loads of seafood but Jarrad is yet to catch us a fish - on the list of things to do!

Anyway here are the pics of our antics once again.

I cant believe we did it.

... br>We then drove over to Krk Island to the resort of Baška... as I said before there were only 2 campsites and the one with shade was a naturists one so we thought ahh, why not. Hmmm, it was an experience.... there are some things you just dont need to see which is namely fat naked men with their things flapping around in the wind. We got brave enough to bare all on the beach but I couldnt quite get to walking around ...

Another Croatian seaport

... s.d.) I arrived just fine, and had drawn a map and written directions down from google map. And, it was a snap finding the hostel. Unlike the 3 hr trudge I took in Venice to go less than 1 mile! I used Google map, but I believe the hostel had an incomplete address. And Google map led me almost right into the ocean!

There isn't much to see ...

A few days of heat, sun and lots of beach time

Great little place to relax, with plenty of beaches (topless, nude or otherwise), hiking, boating and more. Heavily touristed by northern Europeans, with lots and lots of skin on the beaches and boats, and a very interesting medieval town made for wandering tourists.

Back on the COAST!!!

... And getting to see a sunset that’s the closest to the sun setting over the water that I’d ever seen, so that was pretty cool. Rijeka I think is pretty much a port town, but it had some nice parts to walk around for a while, just to break up the staring at the beach. So it was a nice place to while away the day before my horrible night bus down the coast. Music blaring, lights turned all the way on, a cliff hugging road & a German ...

At long last - another entry from Croatia

... the Tower of Terror at the Gold Coast. Don't leave home without a GPS and maps (thanks Keith)! Stuttgart was a great place to stay while Tito was insured, registered, etc. Visited the zoo, ate great food (an Italian restaurant to equal the real things a little way south), especially the local noodles and ravioli (spatzle and maultaschen). We went to the Mercedes Benz car museum and saw the last 280CE ever built and it was in slightly better condition then mine! Finally ...
