... left late & ate up 14 mins. So we only had 2 mins to make the connection. Believe me it was just like in amazing race, as we made the 100 yard dash, at a sprinters pace to make the connection. Marilyn was about 30 yards behind as I got to the train. She was worried that I was going to leave her behind. Would I do that?

So today was an example of how wonderful my husband Craig really is. Many years ago in 1983 when we Eurailed our way around Europe our train stopped at a pretty place called Zell am See in Austria. We were going to Salzburg and Craig said at the time – let's go back and have a look at this town one day. So it was on his bucket list. We left Hotel Tauterman and it was a very pretty drive to Zell am See. ...

... took us in to don a silver raincoat and a hardhat. Then we walked across the street to the entrance of the mine where we learned more about the silver mine. Above the entrance was the mountain in which you could see many mine shafts openings where fresh air gets into the mine. When the previous tour returned we got on the "train" for the 7 minute ride 800 meters into the mountain. Then I understood why we needed the raincoats, there ...
