Really slacking on my entries. I feel so tired and exhausted most days and can't work up the willpower! After leaving Zadar, I went onto a town called Motovun for three days. It is a spectacular little place in the upper western part of Croatia, amongst many vineyards on rolling mountains and deep valleys. The best wine you could imagine. ... of spiral stairs with our bags to work out she was not our landlady, down 1 flight of spiral stairs to our apartment - no reply. Left heavy bags in alcove& went across the road to Charlie Bar. Very hot & sweaty by now & in dire need of a beer. Stephen thought this would be a good place to view the apartment door. Couldn't get anyone by phone as we have had a few global roaming problems.

... fresh fish and chicken from the market for the BBQ at the hostel. The BBQ ended up being a failure but our meal was still delicious.
