... the main centre of Rijeka which is simply traffic hell.

I plod along at walking speed and stop at just about every traffic light etc etc. I could force my way through the traffic but just like most towns in this neck of the woods its simply too dangerous. Rather sit the extra 20 minutes than get knocked off my bike in this neck of the world.

... so he just got some veggie soup which he loved. Seeing as Split is on the water and they have lots of fresh seafood I decided to get the seafood risotto. OMG! It was spectacular! ... 6 miles and dropped anchor in Prklog which was a lovely long inlet totally protected with just one other boat. It felt like we could have been in a Swiss forest some where as there were so many tall pine trees.
