    ... Guys and girls in bathing suits played volleyball at several courts, people were swimming and kayaking and paddleboarding. Tons of couples and singles we sunbathing and listening to music. Bike riders, elderly folks with walkers, toddlers...people were just having a wonderful afternoon and it was so enjoyable to feel a part of that!     ... place is in the Summer, but even allowing for that, it was slow progress as we kept stopping for photos. We think we did about 30km in just over two hours. When we come back next year, we're already thinking about passing this way, or something very similar, so we can get the full experience.

    ... disappointed...it was chocolate, not cinnamon. Oh well...I ate most of it anyway, and so did Sandy.

    Boarded the boat which was going to make 5 stops including Alpnachstad where we would board the cog rail train to ascend the mountain. Not many people on the boat...good. Good sight seeing and tremendous views of the many mountains surrounding Lucerne. Got lots of pics.

    Landed at Alpnachstad and headed immediately ...
