Our hotel is right next to (well a block away from) the Reuss River, the beautiful body of water that winds its way through the city's center and under the gorgeous Chapel Bridge built in 1300.       Today we went to Lucerne on the train from Zürich. First we went to the Renaissance Hotel and then we went to a park nearby. I mean really nearby. It was diagonal right from the hotel.       ... t know how the people who went right onto the plateau did it, I really felt I’d get blown away and I’m no lightweight! Pete didn’t bother, he just looked on. We were so lucky with the weather though, a bit of cloud and blue sky made it really all worthwhile.
