Cold, cold, cold
... layers and gloves..even then I wasn’t overly warm, the place was freezing! We wandered the streets, ate some famous fast food ‘surf-n-fries’ before calling it an evening. In all fairness, we knew Zagreb was nothing to be excited about and although the weather didn’t help, I was keen for bed by about 4pm so I bought a warm chocolate milk, it nearly froze on the 5 minute walk home and tucked myself in for a well-earned 12 hour sleep.

Day excursion to Kumrovec

Later in the day when we get back to the hotel about 3pm we go for a walk into town, check out a museum and buy some souvenirs and something to eat then head back to the hotel.
