Just a short haul. 1.5 hours. A low coastline drive until its not. Pine trees and beehives by the dozens. Roads a bit steep in places but the driver, who looks like the character Louis Litt from 'Suits' and is just as anal - drives with great care, always confidence inspiring. Dropping down into Marmaris reveals blue water, a para glider, hotel lines and sand. The main drag is reminiscent ...

... sail at 6:00pm. A very narrow entry/exit from the bay, which required a pilot, and very slow speed, therefore lots of time to enjoy the scenery. More photographs.... Walking on the different docks, and looking at all the boats, and where they are from is a fascinating past-time. I also noticed ...

So another perfect day... An early morning swim, another sea turtle and more cruising and beautiful food. A visit to an ancient island village. Xenophon referred to inhabitants as 'semi-barbarians'. Not sure we should trust his opinion... The ...

... another perfect charter together. and of course, "Here's and Cheers to next year, when we sail again" Jacques happily said as he swallowed down his entire glass in one sip. We had dinner reservations for 8:00p at the "nice restaurant", in the garden. Since it was now 8:15p -- Jacques and I were dressed and ready, so we headed over, and Marina joined us about 10 minutes later. I must say I was truly skeptical about eating at this restaurant, where I had the horrible food ...
