Today we took the train from Vienna to Kitzbuhel. We had to transfer trains in Worgl, & expected to have 16 mins to make the connections. Well ...
... we had a drink at the bar and took our laptop down there where it works a lot better!! Tonight we walked down to what seems like a local social club. It was full of Austrians and they seem to be enjoying themselves. The meal was okay – I had fish but as you can tell it wasn’t outstanding. Doesn’t matter. Back in the room for planning for tomorrow and it doesn’t seem that noisy after all thank goodness.

For dinner we went to the Crazy Daisy, where we sat outside with blankets and heat lamps. I had the Wiener Schnitzel, which was excellent. We spent the rest of the evening enjoying the wonderful Steinbock Apartment, as it was our last night there.

From there we took a side road, with more switchbacks, up to the Edelweiss-Spitze. This was the highest point on the road at 2571 meters. There were 360 degree views, and even a restaurant with a Zimmer (i.e. rooms you could rent).
