Nice - Aptly named
With our new Eurail passes, we jumped on a train to Nice, France. I enjoyed the view of the French countryside along the way; however Flic and Ash had already become accustomed to such things. Apparently your billionth windmill isn't as thrilling as your first. When we arrived we made a bee-line for our hotel in old-town Nice, so to avoid the very …

What's Nice in Nice
... bus.
In the evening I went out to catch up with my friends from Cork, Ireland, who now live in Nice. It was lovely to see them and hear what everybody has been up to. We had a glass of wine outside a bar and then walked back to Steve and Ruth’s place near Garibaldi. Crashed there for the night as the trams did not pick up again until 5 am! We were originally planning on checking out clubs but were all knackered and just enjoyed a chat and stroll through the city. ...
