Liz arrived pulling two horses down the lane, while inside André, our choir mistress, was shepherding a flock of children in sheep hats into a cardboard box for a rehearsal. Day 17 - Paris to Nice and Happy Birthday to Me!
... in all kinds of turmoil, so we don't think it's a big deal! When we first got here, I think the tide was in and the waves were coming up over the sea wall. Today we're in Brussels, Belgium and tomorrow its back to London so I thought Id get a head start on the blogging before I forget everything completely. Truth be told I would wait until we get home (London home that is) but Brussels has proved rather boring (well get to more of that later) and I have nothing better to do!

... with Ruth . We enjoyed another great meal – sharing coq au vin and a delicious salad . The dressings here are light and flavorful. We topped it off with caramel flan-like custard.
