        ... there is insufficient interest and the numbers don't make sense, then there will be no tour. I should add that this first tour will be directed primarily at strong riders who are capable of climbing 1,000 metres plus per day on consecutive days. If this first tour is successful, I can offer a future tour that will feature routes more suitable for non-climbers.         ... of the Kanto plain which comprises Greater Tokyo, home to about 35 million people, it takes about 5 to 6 km to get to the countryside. As I said the other day, Iiyama was a perfect experience and it may be sometime before I feel that way again. I may have been spoiled for life and nothing else will compare.

        Tomorrow will also be the final ride of my tour before I return to Tokyo on Sunday and get ready to fly back.

        ... a third night as this inn was so nice and the riding has been fantastic. The breakfast was delicious, always well presented with the little side dishes of various designs containing veggies and a portion of mackerel, tamagoyaki (Japanese style rolled omelette), rice and miso soup.         ... making kits and accessories for the girls then we split up so Anna can explore on her own. Lily and Amy continue their shared travels over some super creamy ice creams and through more charming stores.

        The 100 Yen store loads up our souvenir bin with more goodies including erasers for Lily.

        ... today I'm sure.. there is ample space to wander, plenty of shaded seating, lawns for picnics, food outlets plus plants to buy.. wisterias too.. of course , the park seems to have all the boxes ticked.
        One can only imagine the care, attention and detail taken to preserve the trees, maintain the flowers beds etc..
