We drive to Aphrodisias, site of the temple of Aphrodite. The site is beautiful, in the country side with many of the columns still standing, and no crowds. I visited a photographer's shop. He had pictures of some of the statues, and photos of the village that had been on the site. People were living among the ruins. The streets were very noisy last night, it was Saturday Night. Needless to say neither of got a really good sleep. A couple of lazy days and really enjoying staying our little apartment. The area is mostly residential but lots of little shops, cafes and fast food joints; we think the Turks eat out a lot.
