      ... was done. After dinner we had to get two cabs back to the resort, which was interesting. As you can imagine there don't seem to be a lot of road rules and there are goats and stray dogs all over the place and on top of that the roads here would have to be the worst I have been on. It was about a 45 min drive back to the resort (felt like 3 hrs) and the two cabs cost a combined total of $15 aud......so can't really complain. Tonight is our last night here and tomorrow we head off to ...

      Traveling around on a mountain bike seems to really intrigue the locals. Everywhere i go, I get a "hey Joe " and hey Americano ! " especially from the kids. The area i m riding around in is not a place that foreigners frequent , but all the better, as my experience is all the more enriched for it. Everyone is happy to offer assistance with directions, and the smiles are infectious !
      Such a contrast as I'm riding around.. massive modern bridges, ...

      ... are we in the 'we always use a meter’ designated airport Yellow Cab than the driver asks as we exit the airport ‘300 pesos, or meter?’ He’s very keen to do the fixed fare scam. We relent, I’ve already sussed that it’s around 200 pesos (at most) and the extra 100 might ensure we are not kidnapped by his cohort of Mafioso taxi gang.

      ... glass floor - somehow you still think the floor will break!

      The cable car ride took about 25mins and as I said, the views were amazing. We went over forests and lakes and since it's right next to the airport we saw dozens of flights taking off and landing - I even commented to Arnaud how small the airport seemed (I was eating my words later I assure you!!).
