... was heaps of fog once we got to the coast so did not get much of a look for much of the journey. When the fog did lift we saw we went past several islands, some very close! At the end of the park, we looked for Canada's Tallest Totem Pole. I had seen it on the bus tour and wanted to see it up close this time. After taking some pictures, we took a short walk through some woods and ended up on Dallas Street.

- Mt. Douglas: (Shelbourne St) After a sweaty hike up the mountain we reached the top. The view is incredible. The first time i went myself and 6 friends just sat at the viewpoint for a good hour or so just looking out at the mountain ranges of America and Canada. You can see Seattle, Washington and parts of Victoria from the top. Definitely worth seeing. It's beautiful. I did this hike a number of times and the view never ceased to amaze ...
