... movies dubbed over in German which was really funny. We didn't stay up too late because the Hallars are leaving before 6am tomorrow to go to Germany to visit family friends.

... meal a couple of the guys took on the turkeys, and we also had mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans (which I made), macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, a carrot dish in a maple syrup sauce ( a Canadian dish), bread rolls and butter, and stuffing. It was all very good! It was nice having home food again for once. We even all held hands and said Grace before eating.

After eating though we were all pretty miserable ...

Die Zeit der Vorbereitung ist vorüber, endlich gehts los.

Anreise Linz - Frankfurt - Singapur

Am Abend gings los von Linz nach Frankfurt, der Flug war schnell vorüber.
In Frankfurt bemerkten wir die Ausmaße des Flughafens, wir mussten das Terminal wechseln was ca. eine halbe Stunde in Anspruch nahm. Dabei fuhren wir auch mit der Skylink Bahn quer über den Flughafen.

... to get to the different rooms were all so dark looking and really gave off the effect of how it was.

I would have liked to of toured more areas but we had to leave. I didn't get to see where they slept or anywhere else.

Afterwards we had a "lunch buffet" at a nearby restaurant. Guess what it was... Bread, cheese, and meat! Gotta love the Austrian-style "buffet".

It was a short trip but an impacting ...

Some Reflections:

-Food is a challenge. I feel like I eat the same thing over and over. Lots of bread with meat and cheese. The schnitzel is still fine though. I haven't eaten it a whole lot. But usually when I eat out I choose pasta because it's a safe bet. The chocolate is of course still fabulous as well as the pastries, but I'm probably going to get fat. I got potoates because I really want some baked pototes but I forgot about the ...
