... They would decide to scream their little heads off in the middle of the night, which would scare us from a deep sleep to sitting up straight in our beds. Jona, my hero, was able to trap a few and get them out of our bedroom. One especially large lizard needed all three boys!

We didn't do a great job taking pictures here because we were too busy relaxing and having an amazing time. So most of this trip will have to live in our memories!

... some of the best waves we have had to date. Light crowds so we were able to get to the best take off points. I had some many nice waves about 1.9 meters the largest and was really tired after 2 hours and my eyes and face fried by the sun.

I grabbed a wicked wave on the shoulder from the break an rode green all the way to the beach...I dropped down onto the board and road it like a body board to the sand...Huge smile on ...

... in the over head hanger. The air-hostess came around the food and drink trolley and offered me a coke and a ham and cheese sandwich. I am excited to get back to school and show my students and the school all the amazing educational cool things on offer for the students to see and do and share all of my awesome experiences and photos with everyone.

I am excited to organise my next trip with the students.

... some of the details of my plan, I set out this morning to rent a motorcycle that would be able to bring me across the island. With a very limited set of choice and models available on Bali, I did end up with a 200 cc trial bike. Not really what I was expecting and probably very uncomfortable on long distances, but the best I could do ...

... it wasn’t terribly unpleasant, except that it sounded like a ten year old playing the recorder for the melody! As the bells, bongos and recorder dies away, Nay’s haircut seems to be going OK as Neil watched along with two other salon staff, then the music starts up again… it sounds familiar. The same song plays a good six times which becomes a running joke for everyone in the shop, yet nobody rushes to change it!
