... basically.. definitely the best thing ever ever ever. We woke at 2am to get to the base of the mountain at 3am and reaching the 2000m summit at 5am for sunrise. It was magical. All I would change would be my Primark plimsoles. We visited the rice paddy terraces (upsettingly touristy), the funky civet poo coffee plantation and the elephant temple. ... retrieve the hat of a fellow passenger. In that moment, I truly believed that I was about to vomit on someones head. Deep breathing got me through what seemed like an eternity. The man hopped back aboard and elegantly puked into the water.

It was with a heavy heart that we left the Gili Islands and headed to Sanur where Charlie and I would start our PADI scuba diving course. Probably right that we left when they did - the price of ice cream has increased!

The plan for today... Nothing!!! A much needed day of doing very little starts with breakfast in our villa at 11am followed by watching a spot of tv, a swim in our private pool and a bit of reading... Perfect!
