... bath to enjoy. We spent the rest of the day by the hotel pool where we made friends with another guest and one of the owners of the hotel.
Day three the time change caught up with us and we slept in, feeling a little soar from the massages the day before we decided the best thing would be to get another, haha hey it's only $7.50 for an hour. That night we went out for another great dinner and then a nice walk down the main strip.

We were walking back to the car and our driver, when two hawker bike rides, approached me wanting me to pay them 100,000 for exchange of 4x $2 Aussie coins. ... A dead straight road heads relentlessly upwards to about 1500m where we come to a stop at a village called Batur and the driver shepherds into an unprepossessing restaurant. OMG though! What a view from the table we are seated at. Straight across to Lake Batur flanked by hills. The photos are a much better explanation. We eat a fairly ordinary, and rather pricey by Balinese standards, buffet but the view is worth it.
