... the viewing areas helped us understand a little more. I took pictures of many signs just to help me remember some of the history.

A stroll around the area found us observing the phenomenon of Locks of Love. Thousands and thousands of these locks, with couples' names and dates were affixed to some of the gates and in a special sculpture area. This is the second time we have seen this; the first was in Koln, Germany. (Last year we saw this also in Thailand.) We ...

We embarked on the ship yesterday afternoon after walking to The Great Market Hall. After dinner the ship sailed past Budapest around 9:15pm when the city was all lit up. The countryside on the way in was very nice, but there were a few moments of worry in the front seat as were staying in an ...

Next its back outside to join the Fulbrighter's on our tour of Pecs' old town. We get to see the old town wall, the cathedral, and the main square. Then we enter a door in the ground outside the cathedral and down we went into the Cella Septichora Látogatóközpont (the Christian Necropolis of Pecs). This museum is made of an archeological dig deep into the ground beside and underneath some of the historic buildings up above. ...
