Delhi 24-30th October by Ben Delhi is the most polluted place either of us has seen. Despite not a cloud in the sky for six days, the sun never penetrated the smog covering the city. Litter is everywhere, and most people don't give a ****, but a small minority of environmental enthusiasts have found a great method of recycling plastics by …
We arrived in Delhi from Varanasi in a 2nd class A/C sleeper train. It was the night of Diwali so the train was surprisingly empty! By 8am we were checked into our hotel in the bustling streets of Main Bazaar in central New Delhi.
After getting ourselves showered and having a rest we headed out to see what New Delhi is all …

Decent and budget hotel (this is not a hostel or cheap/crummy place), close to New Delhi Railway and many bazaars. Rooms were fairly clean. Beware of spiders and bring flip flips for the showers and extra toilet paper. Overall, would recommend to first-time visitors.
