... radiate off the bride and groom for the whole day as they have each other's love and all of their favourite people in one room at the same time. Watching my little sister get married increased this feeling tenfold. A lot of these people in this room were my favourite people too (the whole extended family had been invited) and I can't even find the words to say how much Harriet and her happiness mean to me. • Today was a very relaxing day in Hartlepool. The entire day was ours to do as we pleased when we pleased. Eddie took us for a drive and we saw about 30 wind turbines standing in the ocean several hundred meters off the coast of Hartlepool. Rather a strange sight. • It was strange arriving in my home town after being away for 50 years. Only a few hours later I was at the Victoria Ground, watching Hartlepool play and beat Mansfield in a football match 1 - 0.

... Get this - we went to Scotland on Wednesday! The first thing I saw when we arrived was a bagpipe-playing busker - oh Scotland and your stereotypes!! We explored so much, but I definitely wore the wrong shoes... there is an incredible place called Arthur's Seat - most fantastic view - and just pure bliss while up there. We didn't have time to climb the mountain but that'll happen in Easter!

On Thursday I headed to Manchester to stay with a friend and celebrate her 18th ...
