Ok so lying by the pool, reading a novel while a waiter brings us iced tea is probably not fully emerging ourselves real Bahasa life, but it's a great way to spend a morning!!

Time for a quiet day, after a good breakfast, Elise lay by the pool and Brad went to explore on his scooter. Travelling out toward Georgetown, the 'city' on Penang island, Brad got some great photos, got lost in the backstreets of Jalans, Sungais, Persiarians and Lebuhs (various forms of 'street') and got an awesome singlet …

Slept in so we we woke up, no brekky just straight out the door on the way to our scooter adventure around Penang island!! So excited. Elise had planned a route that covered most of the main attractions and we just hoped we would not get too lost among the Jalans, Lebuhs and Sungais.

Made it out of Batu Feringhi headed East along the coast …

Brad awoke on the morn of his birthday next to his beautiful wife, the best present he could hope for :):) Wi plans to buy up a new wardrobe of clothes in KL, his morning presents were two water pistols and two blocks of black forest cadbury chocolate!
