The hotel was superb. Stayed in the Lil Rock Suite. Staffs handling the breakfast was however not that friendly and attentive to the guests or could say selective to only guests that perhaps they knew or have acquainted before. The pool was great and the guys handling the pool towel distribution were great!! The guys promoting the beach activities can get a bit annoying pushing their activities by the way. The beach.. well.. not that clean...
Word of advise if coming by public transport, it's best to rent a car rather then taking cabs all the time especially if you plan to travel around Penang Island.

If I remember correctly my last blog post closed with us standing on top of an ancient monument up a mountain in a thunderstorm in Cambodia... Next our journey took us on from one heritage site to another, hello Penang! We went to Penang for a variety of reasons, not least of these being to visit Wei Loon (those of you in JA might remember him as the Chinese lad from the Farm with a habit of pretending not to be able to speak English in RAW videos...) ...
