... up the locals!!! We then headed back to the bar for another pint and to hear some music. A "balladeer" was advertised at 10 pm. Well, he was irish, and he sang, so I guess that makes him a balladeer. But he was singing tunes by billy Joel and that "only miss the sun when it starts to snow" song. ... 2000 BC, at Lough Gur. We drove through Bruff, the ancestral home of JF Kennedy. We reached Tipperary and had Pub Grub for lunch. All the time the roads held us spellbound with their beauty. We drove thru Golden and on to Cashel, where the Kings of Munster lived from the 9th century. ... We're taking public transit to our guesthouse, so that might be interesting!

A cute Irish man sat next to us in the waiting area. He told us his mom had him when he was 16, and I said, "oh wow," because I wasn't sure what else to say. He responded, "Well, it wasn't my fault." Hahahaha. He definitely had the gift of gab.

... to meet up with Tom and Maura for a very relaxing lunch in Killaloe. It was very good and very filling!! It was lovely to catch up with Ger's mum and dad.
You can see by the pics who ventured in. On our last day heading to Rosslare, we stopped off in Kilkenny to visit the castle and park. we took a picnic and the kids really enjoyed the play part there. The weather was very kind to us and it stayed dry. ...

... trips becoming very car sick! The whether turned a little, so it was chilly and a sprinkle of rain in the air. Us bridesmaids were in strapless short dresses (classy ones though!) Rachael the other Aussie bridesmaid and I, were freezing! But all the local Irish guests were saying how lovely a day for the wedding! We were pretty confused on that one! Oh yeah the marrying couple sit down on chairs at the front of the alter in an Irish catholic ceremony.
