Left Galway in pursute of new adventures! Drove to Ashford Castle, owned by the Guiness family. Unbelievable grounds, not to mention the castle. Treat of the day was to go to the school of falconry and learn about falconeering. They had Harris hawks and peregrine falcons. A young lady spent a couple of hours with us, teaching us, and letting each one of us release the falcon. ... to meet up with Tom and Maura for a very relaxing lunch in Killaloe. It was very good and very filling!! It was lovely to catch up with Ger's mum and dad.
