... days catching up with friends and family doing a bit of shopping.
Back here in the capital at 'the palace' with all being good. Haven't had a lot of time but have managed to have dinner out every night catching up with friends and it has meant I haven't had to cook!

I have missed some sorry but we are here for 3 months so will catch up when we are back from Xmas at Wairoa. have a great Xmas & we will be in touch!

... As we headed out in search of a food joint, that is when we realised how dead this part of the town was. The reason we stayed in this side was because it was close to the bus stop. Anyway we found a bar and ordered some food. There was only one other guy, a tourist, in the bar. Another tourist joins him for a drink. ... final few months … we've got hours planned as beach bums. By the time we reached Coral Bay we were a bit disappointed to find a cloudy sky before but it was still warm and so we took up a spot right next to the water.

... walkway and go up the ramp. You use change to pay for this ferry, it's more conventional the the other boats, with cars driving on the bottom and people sitting on the top. The seats were all facing backwards, so I was trying to figure out how I wouldn't get motion sick, then I saw a guy just push the backrest the other way. They are bi-directional! Sweet!
