We cross back into the USA in Sault Ste Marie. This is the 8th different place we have crossed the USA-Canada border. 3 times in Michigan (Detroit, Port Huron & Sault Ste Marie), once each in Minnesota, New York, Vermont, Montana & Idaho. We visit the Soo Locks before heading to Point Iroquois Lighthouse in Brimley, MI. We then head to …

After six, men must be wear a coat and tie and woman must be in a dress. The cheapest room during the summer is over $600 per night!! Guess we won't be staying at the Grand.
This is a neat island with lots of tourists like us and a great way to spend a sunny day!

A very nice and reasonable place to stay in beautiful Saint Igance. A big spread out facility that had both an indoor and outdoor pool or you could swim in Lake Huron. They also had a fire pit going at night so you could make s'mores that they provided.
