    ... houses, some very ran down. Alabama people all seem fairly laid back and do everything slow. Then we had a stop at USS Alabama Battlefields Memorial Park. Was pretty much a get off, take a pic, get on stop. Bit of a shame. Then we went to Pensacola Beach. I got my feet wet then got back on the bus to go to the hotel.     The state of Florida (our 10th state so far) has this funny bit that sticks out to the northwest along the top of the Gulf of Mexico - called the panhandle, it prevents Georgia having a southern coastline - and restricts Alabama to just a little bit.
