We arrived at our destination just before 11 where we would be leaving sponge bob the truck and getting a lift along a dirt road to a hostel/ working ranch farm where we would be spending the next three days. The farm had a welcome pool and hammocks for relaxing and some pet pigs that wandered around. All the meals were included and every one was extremely tasty made using meat and vegetables from the farm. I perhaps understated how awful the last 48 hours have been (due to fatigue and shock). After the hell that was Ponta Pora, we thought we were in for a treat in Bonito. We had the traditional food of the region, which started with deep fried bananas with a meat filling - now this sounds horrible (I'm even thinking that as I write this!!) but it was actually lovely!! Next we had fish - small fish balls, shrimps, mussels and salmon - all very tasty. Finally came the meat dish! To make it you had to first put ...

... the water pulling against the resistance...which disappears as soon as the Piranha comes flying out of the water, swings across to my left, hits the guy next to me whos fishing from a boat, comes off the hook and slides under a seat in the boat. Whooping and cheering I call Max down to help with the Piranha. The Australian guy still has his line in the water so is still on the boat, Max comes along and takes something out of his belt. Suddenly Australian guy turns away and Max ...
