    I perhaps understated how awful the last 48 hours have been (due to fatigue and shock). After the hell that was Ponta Pora, we thought we were in for a treat in Bonito.     ... He was over the moon. After a while we all caught some piranha (some keepers others too small) It was getting dark so we pulled poles after an hour with about 10 piranha for soup that night and we motored back to the Pousada under an another amazing Pantanal sunset!

    ... and we headed towards the river for lunch. Our view on the balcony overlooking the river was lovely - and so was the food! We had the traditional food of the region, which started with deep fried bananas with a meat filling - now this sounds horrible (I'm even thinking that as I write this!!) but it was actually lovely!!     ... exhausted in the heat, we pull up to the edge of the river where a little ferry boat is loading up a car and motorbike. I started thinking, oh no i hope our jeep isnīt going on that.
