Well, today was my last official day at Penn State for a while. It was really bittersweet because I had to say my last goodbyes to so many people and friends, and it's especially hard because I'm not sure when our paths' might cross again. I guess that's a part of growing up, right? The next time I'll be ...

Today we made candy sushi using rice krispie treats, swedish fish, fruit roll ups (thanks to Mrs. J!). I prepared the rice krispies last night and brought them in for students to wrap and fill with candy! When we have our going away party later on in the day we will eat our treats with chopsticks! I'm going to have to practice as well!

We awoke this morning to a lovely breakfast prepared by Liberty Sprague, our host at the Country Seasons B&B. There were 8 guests at breakfast, 2 per each of the 4 season rooms. It was nice talking to the couples from all over the country over breakfast. We then headed down the road to Fallingwater. Our tour was at 10:00, but we were able to walk the grounds (with no other tourists around) for over an hour before hand. I cannot express in words how ...

Attended my nephew's wonderful wedding today. It took place at the gatherings lodge at a private residence on 460 acres that includes a 9-hole golf course.

I need to go to bed, so just a few points off the top of my head:

      • I love these big family gatherings; all of my brothers and sisters attended, as well as my mom and dad.
      • The ceremony and reception happened in a tent ...

... meal. The salad they served was equivalent to a salad we would serve at a BBQ for six to eight people. Of course we couldn't finish the pasta, the pizza or the salad. They kindly offered it all for take out!

Our room was good and had a good breakfast.

it is also getting close to Halloween, the pumpkins are ripe and being picked and people are starting to decorate their doorsteps. Very interesting!
