I flew down to visit some old friends who just got engaged, Justin and Emily. They recently moved to Ft. Pierce, Florida where the average age is about 81. To their credit, they do live right near the beach and have a boat docked about 200 feet from their house (The only reason I came to visit, but don't tell them). Surrounded by state parks, great surf beaches and family-friendly beaches, picnic areas, excellent fishing and boating opportunities, fantastic restaurants, both small and large hotels plus riverwalks along the parks and city center, this area offers something for everyone.
