We took a short ferry ride (1 hour) from Paros to Naxos and we noticed right away that Naxos island has a totally different feel and pace from Paros. The Blue Star ferry to Paros left on time and was a very comfortable ride from Piraeus (Athens Port), to the Island of Paros. The taxi met us at the ferry port in Parikia and drove us to the Hotel Senia in the town of Naoussa. We got lucky and our room was upgraded by the owner, Senia, to include a jacuzzi tub. ... it we thought it an idea to get some fresh air and scope out somewhere for dinner.Being Sunday and being end of season Naxos was exactly how we imagined Mykonos would have been with very little open and of those that were very little interested us.

... Caleb and I ventured out to watch Portugal vrs France at 9:45PM. As we got to the bottoms stairs of our place Caleb quipped 'Finally a boys night out'... ... created a natural cove and harbor there so we enjoyed the lack of wind and soft sand. The water was crystal clear, as always here in the Aegean, but it was cold. After a short dip and swim, we dried off in the sun and then drove over to the main town in Mykonos, Hora.
