Fine day and we are on the bus by 8.00am after a 5.00 am start. There was long lines at immigration to enter Russia, but we got through eventually. The buses were all lined up ready to take the crowds from the cruise ship into St Petersburg. ... We awoke refreshed & rejuvenated! Time to hit the town! We hit one of our favorite spots, Coconuts Bahama Grill. Absolutely love that place! ... and everyone is very open and friendly. I meet people from South Africa, England, Amsterdam, France and Germany among others. At nights we often have a communal cook-out by the pool. The continental breakfast in the morning is very good and served by the pool, also.

The weather is nice. I love a warm climate. For the next week and a half I move around looking at the town and checking on possible long term places ...

... pull up at the cruise terminal to the waiting line of luggage porters whom kindly inform us how well they are going to look after our luggage (the driver of the free shuttle and the porters all seem to have the same affliction with their arms, which are bent at the elbows with palms open and facing up!).
