Calming down
... class monitor had to bring in the homeroom teacher, who proceeded to caress the boy's head and say he was feeling sick instead of properly punishing him. I could tell Christine was upset, and that reaction did not make it better. I had a 5:00 Xindongfang class, so I could not comfort her, but oh, how I wanted to. She did not deserve this week's trouble, and that was just icing on the already bitter cake.
