... so we are hoping to do some sightseeing of the area over the next couple of days. Luckily we had a waiter from the resort that is from that area of Thessaloniki, who gave us some places to eat and sights to see.

We have met some very nice people along the way, both Britts and Greeks who have given us good advice on what to see and do. The food has been good but not spectacular. ...

... answers...now he suggests a jeep instead..(tired of answering our calls I think!) ..he comes up and exchanges the jeep for the ATV, but since we had just put more petro in we follow him back so he can siphon off the gas and put it into our jeep...Greeks are very flexible people...Petro is more than $10/gallon so we were not going to leave it in the ATV!!!

Anyway...we are having a great time and seeing incredible things...hope you enjoy the pictures..

Sunday we took a boat tour around the island, 7 hours with multiple stops and secluded beaches for swimming. The water is still quite cold so only the hardy swim...obviously not us! The boat was filled with many Britts and American students on semester abroad. The scenery was incredible, many caves, rock arches and distant islands. ** What has made this last comment so hilarious is that a British tourist has just walked into the computer room, cigarette clamped into the side of his mouth, and told me "Bloody fast typist, you are!"

too close - real shame as it was an amazing beach.
Caught the bus most days back up to Paraskevi where we normally stay.
Jimmy's taverna greeted us like old friends and were sad to hear that we won't be back from a while.Left with a tear in our eye too.
