    ... 160; We had loads of optional activities for this trip stay, and I got my Lara Croft on with a cycle to the River Li, a raft down and then we cycled and hiked up half moon mountain again the Medial ligament was like are you kidding me but we got to the top and some joker was there giving out the Coca Cola good price hustle, there were rock climbers free climbing the half moon and on a day without mist the view would have been worth it.     ... everyone just made their way around it and carried on. The bus we had to catch was no. 5 but they were few and far between and always full. Four of us managed to squeeze on but the rest uPf us continued to wait. A private bus pulled up so Ting Ting arranged for us to go on it for 5 yuan. Much better. He even loaded our bags for us.

    Had an absolutely spectacular day in Yangshuo today. A few days ago when I was up at the rice paddies, I started worrying about what I'd do in Yangshuo, as the unpredictable weather, the flooding river, and a few blogs detailing bad experiences had made me nervous about my plans.     ... and we managed to rack up around 65km this time... a long way for a 2 minute stop at a viewpoint and half a pizza. When we got back we got the bus back up to Guilin where we had a train down to Guangzhou and on to Hong Kong. All blogs have now been updated with photos, have a look. The tiger ones are pretty cool. We have some other good photo's of China that we would've put on here but Jimmy's memory card is on the blink so can't get the photos off ...

    ... between these fingers as it darts back and forth over a stream via small pedestrain bridges. The buildings along side the river often hang over it. It is very picturesque. As such it is quite touristy, for its small size it has quite a high amount of foreigners inlcuding a few I've seen working in the bars and restaurants. Most of the Chinese people speak good English.
