... t quite hear the noises they made cos we kept moving out the exit in case of a riot.
We got back to the house and had siesta time during the hot hours before having dinner, somewhere... and Stu took us to check out the fountain show at the Belagio. Fairly impressive, but the crowds and the bright lights convinced me that Vegas isn't my kind of town.
We got into bed about midnight for a short nap before our alarm at 5am, to get to the airport.
... the laugh of their life....Travis (the other pilot) had my camera and snapped a photo of me...it's a classic! They were still laughing when we landed saying 'we haven't had a reaction like that in months'......hmmm, was it on purpose, I think so! Well what to do when we return from the tour.....casinos I guess. Off to check out Caesars Palace, Pink Flamingo, Harrahs and The Ventetian and ofcourse ...
... back Joe Montana. Our first famous person, thats if we don't count Forest Whitaker on the screen at the Clippers game.
I had a cocktail at lunch with Matt and must have an allergy to raspberry too as i started to feel sick. I went to the room to be ill and have a snooze. I felt better about 4 hours later so went to dinner with everyone at a sports bar. They had the AFL on some of their screens so that was nice for the boys ...
... wait staff disinterested (although the bar man was excellent) but with the show it didn't seem to matter.
Everyone thought we were either from Canada or the UK - funny. They were most impressed when we said we were from Australia. As we were leaving the girl next to us came up and apologise as she said she really thought it was us (that we were the murderers) lol.
While up that end of town we watched the Freemont Street light show, buskers and crazy folk. ...
... so maybe our necks will feel it later.. We all walked back to our hotel to chill out for an hour and a half before heading out for dinner. We parked at the Bellagio then walked across the road and were lucky to get into a Gordon Ramsey's Restaurant. We only had an hour to eat so we each got a starter and shared 2 desserts while Barb who didn't have to rush off had a steak which looked incredible. We managed to get to the Cirque De Solei in perfect time for the 10pm show and ...
