... the most iconic and famous views in China. Therefore we got up around 5.30am to be on a viewing platform at the sunrise. Aaaand all we saw was: dark fog, lighter fog and then white fog..! yeeeey. That was all.
Therefore we went back to bed for a few hours, then packed our bags and took the western steps back down. This will definitely wreck your knees! The way down is around 4.5 hours. Steps. Just steps. And again all we saw was fog and the rocks ...

... last few hours of the trip I was able to lay down on a bench and get some sleep. It was definitely an experience worth having. Totally outside my normal experience.
