... ran out before we got to number 1818 so we never found it. We went off to find the Temple and stumbled across a lovely area - the Meiyuan New Village. This is a colonial area with beautiful tree-lined boulevards and small cafes and shops, and a fantastic museum for Zhou Enlai (the first premier of the People' Republic of China), with his house and offices kept furnished and intact. We then found the Temple which was beautiful with a gorgeous statue of Buddha in the grounds.
