    ... we met and then came back...not a lot to be said for this area except the Port and Shipping Canal was something to see but being on the A1, stopping to take pictures of massive container ships being load or unloaded as well as sailing under very high bridges may not the be the local Polizie's idea of sight seeing!

    As is almost a tradition, I once again returned to Bremen this winter for a good old catch up with my besties in Germany.

    ... other half on the sidewalk.Kate and Till are very blessed to live in this area. They pay rent to Till's father at a fraction of the cost of what he could get for rent. The houses in this area start at $600,000 Euros. They will inherit the property next door as well, and will then be neighbors with Till's brother in the future. We were hoping to meet the in-laws, but they were gone on a bicycle trip. Till's mom still teaches school and rides her bike to work 50 minutes away 4 days ...

    Finally…the Christmas markets in Bremen are open!!!! It is something we’ve been waiting for ever since the leaves started turning and the weather started getting cold!!! Our favourite time of year – and the most lovely Christmas markets to look around and enjoy! The markets are set up in the main town square as well as the two squares connected and along the main

    ... asked a conductor who had no idea and found no clues on our ticket. We rushed to the info counter where we waited for the free agent to come off her
    break. She looked at our ticket and told us we had one minute to get to platform 7. Luckily it was close, and a conductor saw us charging up the stairs to the platform and held the train for us. Another adventure!
