      That was quite a long flight! The time difference has me confused about the length of the flight, but here in Germany it is just before noon on April 14th. I had a good time, in spite of the long plane ride. I watched Interstellar for part of it, read my Bill Nye book, and reflected a bit. And when we landed, I got my first passport stamp!       ... Paris! Anyway back to the castle. The view from the tower was terrific! The valley to my left, the river to my right. And there were tunnels (glad I had a flashlight in my pack) that were damp and super creepy. Tried to imagine what it must have been like in the Middle Ages. Probably lots of rats down there carrying plague. Eep! Checked out the dungeon and the slaughterhouse. Again, can't even imagine. ...

      Wednesday we caught up with Aunte Hilde and Kevin sat very quietly while Melitta tried her German out.

      Thursday (today) we are browsing the shops in the Wiesbaden Mall with Melitta fussing over all the dog's being walked in the streets.

      Look forward to meeting the rest of Melitta's family in the next few days before we fly to Barcelona.
