... the parking area. One of them was a parking spot that was reserved only for families, and another one that was specifically only for women drivers. Simon told me this was because in dark parking garages, it can be a little sketchy, so it's better for women to have a parking spot closer to the exit. It's the small differences in every place that make each city I visit so interesting.

... Paris! Anyway back to the castle. The view from the tower was terrific! The valley to my left, the river to my right. And there were tunnels (glad I had a flashlight in my pack) that were damp and super creepy. Tried to imagine what it must have been like in the Middle Ages. Probably lots of rats down there carrying plague. Eep! Checked out the dungeon and the slaughterhouse. Again, can't even imagine. ...

Wednesday we caught up with Aunte Hilde and Kevin sat very quietly while Melitta tried her German out.

Thursday (today) we are browsing the shops in the Wiesbaden Mall with Melitta fussing over all the dog's being walked in the streets.

Look forward to meeting the rest of Melitta's family in the next few days before we fly to Barcelona.
