Virginia State Fair

... next year. I really don't know why they didn't go this year...this guy "saved" the fair, he didn't make it go bankrupt, the fair association did! He did get a heck of a deal on the property!

Our favorite feature of the fair this year was the tri-state high school rodeo finals. We really enjoyed watching those kids compete.

It was a great way to end our extended vacation!

Train left Richmond right on time, with me safely ensconced in the WiFi-equipped Quiet Car. This means no crying babies, no screaming children, and best of all NO CELL PHONES. One woman got in a station or two out and immediately got on her cell phone. I went back and said something to her; she gave me a dirty look. I got the conductor who took care of her right quick. ...

... Ordered parts - here for a couple more days. Modules came in, didn't fit, part numbers the same. Found that Power Gear had mislabeled the parts they sent us. NOT going to wait 2 more days for right ones to get here. Wayne attacked the problem with blowing lights inside the coach. Found back connections, improperly connected problems. Keep fingers crossed - maybe we won't have to buy bulbs by the carton.

We did go to Fredericksburg, ...
