We loved this place. We had a room with a balcony on the third floor overlooking busy Hang Bac street. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. Free internet was a big bonus too - as was the great restaurant across the way that did super omelettes! Great location and vibe.

A huge room and good wi-fi. At noon Dinh comes to take us over to the Metropole. This time ...

... in general, but it was too heavy to use on a travel trip. It also would have been extremely heavy when wet, which usually means it's going to be difficult to dry. I ended up having to leave without getting anything, which was disappointing but oh well.

After that I was sort of hungry so I sat down at a restaurant and got banana pancakes. Except that this was a sort of nice restaurant so they were ACTUAL pancakes with banana slices in between them. ...
