... mercifully cool climate, become a land of many kinds of vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, red beet……Tourists will have chance to taste traditional dishes and specialities as salmon hot pot, grilled pork on live coal that bring forest favor in it. It likely seems to be too long if talking about Sapa, land with many wonders. Make a trip to discover this wonderful land that you have ever never known.
For more information, check it at www.sapasunshinetravel.com

Ha, Ha Nội, Vietnam sejourgolfingay... Two of the nights will be on overnight trains, one night will be in a
hotel in Sapa, and one night will be with a Vietnamese family at the
top of the mountain that we will hike (9 miles each way). We haven't
had any truly physical activity in weeks, so we are hoping that we
survive!

I miss everyone! Please send me emails in the next week or so. Asia
leaves me next Friday (the 7th) and I'm sure I'll be quite homesick and
lonely at first. I'd love to hear from everyone!
Hanoi, Vietnam seasiabound... time to Halong Bay. The first day was spent relaxing after Sapa and booking on one of the hundreds of Halong Bay options. We went for a trip on “The Black Pearl”, but more on that a bit later. The second day back in Hanoi, was our second attempt at visiting the Museum of Ethnology and I’m pleased to report that this time things went without a hitch. The museum was pretty good and told about all of the tribes in Vietnam, explaining where they’re based, what they ...
Hanoi, Vietnam tobszanni... into the hostel in fits of laughter.

We checked in and headed out to find Nats parents hotel. The humidity was a killer. By the time we arrived at the hotel about 20mins later it was like I just stepped out of the shower. We ended up in the pub next door to their hotel getting fairly lively. We had a good laugh catching up and we walked home about 12:30 looking for food. We found this place on the side of the road that served Gnocchi and some ...
Hanoi, Vietnam leonnatmckenna... Bac Ma Temple, Hoa Lo Prison which is also known as the Hanoi Hilton- where they kept all the prisoners from the war. Hanoi has a massive market called Cho Dong Xuon- which has every food imaginable. Found the Backpakcers Inn- an entire alleyway dedicated to a hostel which became a great way to meet people plus we ran into about 15 different friends we've made throughout Vietnam and decided to all head to Halong Bay together on a 3 day boat trip.
Hanoi, Vietnam acanning... know we have a fire going, Dave has flicked the poop we could smell into never-never land, the sun has gone down and the frogs in the paddy field opposite are going like the clappers. Perfect. That's when the locals turned up, local men I should say. Two groups, one of older men and the other younger guys. I don't know if it was an orchestrated 'attack' but they all arrived at the same time, hauling themselves up into the cave (not an easy entrance) with ...
Hanoi, Vietnam 50odd... a long palm and sandy beach, a beautiful park and some islands in front that I visited in a day excursion paying about 6 dollars for trip, seafood, cocktails, dance and a lot of fun. We visited three islands, one is the monkeys island where about 3,000 animals live, another has one elephant, some deers and a little lake, another a nice beach and a modern aquarious in an Antoni Gaudi style building. The last stop was Mui Ne, another sea-side resort ...
HUE, Vietnam vinkorI arrived in Hanoi after yet another long overnight bus - this time 13 hours. I've been traveling with Garret from Seattle since Hoi An and we both slept pretty good on this ride. It was a bit wierd crossing the former DMZ and heading into former North Vietnam and thinking how much blood, sweat and tears were expended in Vietnam - by all parties. Despite the very recent history, I've ...
