We decide to move on from our near perfect site and drive to the second teat, Sithonia peninsular. It was not a big drive and to our delight we found another free camping area right on the beach. Just 5km prior was a large sign in English (and probably others languages too) saying freedom camping is strictly prohibited. This area is a large farm or olive plantation. We find out that this week is ...

We decided to drive to the end of the Peninsular and see if we could find another camp. It was only about 30km so we were able to set off with and expectation of something that might suit without too much of a challenge. The motorway was largely ...

Eventually they all agreed we could have 3x but they didn't have the stock. So, we have another trip to the chemist today.

Given the good internet we also managed to get the updated map for the Garmin for Turkey. ...

... A couple of days ago we played golf on the nearby Porto Carras course (part of a horrible massive hotel resort) and in reality the reason for me choosing here as a stop over. The course was very interesting in design but in very poor condition. Very dry, and greens and fairways bare in patches. We were going to play twice but decided that it wasn't worth the even the 40E they charged. Clearly a struggling venture most of the players were expats from ...
