It was another hazy day in tropical Hangzhou, pronounced "Hung Joe", don't ask. The are hills between my hotel and the lake. Yesterday a took the roads to the lake but noticed a possibility of a track over the hills. I found a small park that looked promising as the track. Came …

I went to checkout the reputed scenic lake to the west of Hangzhou cryptically called West Lake. My flight was excellent, left on time, new plane, heaps of legroom, so many movies you need to do several around the world trips to see them …

Of course we were unleashed into the shopping area afterwards. Many merchants were happy that day!! Bargaining is a must, though.

Barely took any photos in Hangzhou as it ****** it down most of the time we were there but here are a few. Hangzhou isn't much of a wintery place really as most of the activities are based around the lake. We attempted to walk around it on my birthday but got soaked through so went to a silk museum instead. I told you it was three wet and wild girls let loose in China...We made up for the ****** weather by going for some real nice food at a restaurant called Grean Tea restaurant though. ...
