    ... up forty years ago. We got off at the stop we got off 40 years ago and tried to find the exact spot where we ate and watched the sailboats on Lake Lucerne. Only problem is, trees grow in 40 years time and we think we found the spot, but one lone tree had grown to obscure some of our view. Still it was nostalgic and we took lots of pictures. It was a great memory.

    ... sheds once again for the cattle in winter. We then went to the waterfalls. Masses of water, boats and people fishing. Back to the bus and onto Zurich.we travelled through many tunnels in the mountains. Tunnels were built by Italians. The longest tunnel is apparently 17 kilometre. Speed limit in the tunnels is 100ks.     We now had a choice of two routes to take to ride to Grindlewald. We had the most scenic route over Susten Pass which I had my dough’s of being open as every other time I had tried it was closed with snow and that was even in midsummer.
