... start of the peak season. It has been great to be here the last 3 days of the shoulder season because we have virtually had the place to ourselves! Not one wait for a lift and easy in the ski locker room with no one else around! Yesterday afternoon we had our first attempt at a snowman on our balcony. His name is Mr Happy! I safely arrived in Japan and am having a great time so far! Narita airport was not as culturally different as I thought it would be, and neither was Chitose airport in Sapporo. We had dinner on the second floor in cute little Japanese style rooms and then went down to the village to look around the stores.
