No.246 Jiefang South Road Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China, 221009
... Cest vraiment joli.

... southern accent. And sometimes I didn’t want to hear or understand.
Getting there had been an adventure from Kaifeng, an all-day affair. We had taken a cab at 9:30 a.m. past the new campus, out to a tollbooth and exit ramp by the main highway. There, in the middle of the road, we’d waited for an hour in the sun. Two men under an umbrella sat by a cart of drinks. I wondered if they sold much. Probably only one or two drinks a day. No one bought anything while we ...
... two there was a lovely hole in the floor. Whenever you used the sink it would leak under the sink and then come up through the hole in the floor. The best part of Shangqiu was the supermarket...Dennis! I had to take pictures to prove to Amanda and Grant that it exists and Steve and I laughed. In the middle of no where wonders will never cease. Fascinating stop over.
Shangqiu, Henan, China ssfahringToday (Saturday) was devoted to a combination celebration - the lunar New Year is coming, and the Xuzhou foundry has been in production for one year. Percy made arrangements for a day of celebratory activities, including a variety of sports in the local university - inside a bitterly cold gymnasium basketball, badminton ...
Xuzhou, Jiangsu, China ssmccall... Turn right from Xinhua Lu and soon you'll see a fridge with a Coke Sticker on it just in the doorway. When I returned to my hotel the 'Floor Girl' greeted me with a happy smile and went to open the wrong door. I questioned as to why and pointed to my door down the hall way. She then began to laugh and mentioned that there was now another foreigner staying in Bozhou in my hotel on my floor ...
Bozhou - Anhui Province, China eddakath... m sure the government will one day take that away and leave our Public Holiday that celebrates a three minute horse race!
It's all about money!
After having to say good bye due to too many car horns and people yelling around me I headed across town to the old quarter near Huaxilou Lu (near the river) and found my way to the Bozhuo Museum and mate, was I not prepared for the ...
... price range because they all thought I was a rich American tourist. I told him my story and he pointed directly across the road and said they have nice clean rooms with air-conditioning for under my price range. We looked at each other and laughed and shared one last cigarette before he said his good byes and headed in the direction he was heading prior to stopping. The shower was awesome and for how hot it was ...
Bozhou - Anhui Province, China eddakath... that we were just walking around the city and we saw this garden, it turned out to be one of the most famouse in China so of course we went in. After that we headed to the outside of town to see the Yangzee River it was a long walk after we took a 30 min. bus ride on a double decker bus. On the bridge they had these monunets that you could climb up inside from the top there was a great view of the city. Then we went to Hunan Lu it is one of the famouse ...
Jingdezhen/NanJing, China hansenjeni... After that we checked out the abandoned archery ranges, abandoned mazes, abandoned theatres with no show and overgrown (abandoned) gardens... The most amount of life we saw was a farmer grazing his goats in the pond garden, and a family living in the abandoned buildings of another garden. And that pretty much finished our trip in Xuzhou. Quite a little adventure, and quintessentially ...
Xuzhou, China chris-marianne... arrived we spent half an hour finding a hotel and then a lady took us right there. It was in a small street at the end of a small alley. We tried looking for a tea-house which has been closed for years. We eventually found it, but couldn't go in. Raymond's Travel Page
