... Houston is very bad on Saturday. I’d hate to see it during the week. Well, the Galleria Mall parking is all in parking decks with a maximum height of 8’6". We’re too big so we just got back on I-610 and came home. I guess people only drive their cars to the Galleria. Jim did a great job driving, but I was having a nervous breakdown. ... for this weekend's Art Car Parade in Houston. This is the 28th year of the biggest art car parade in the world - they will have 300 of these cars in the parade tomorrow.
There were cars all decorated, performance artists and it seemed like everybody was in costume. We could not go in without purchasing wristbands, but we sat on a bench on the terrace and watched the merrymaking.

It was a good day. Jim and I both thought the Cape Canaveral tours were better. The Johnson Space Center looked dated and old. And they had “sold” the center of the lobby to Ripley’s Believe It or Not with science related displays, but not space related. It was very curious. ...

We've attached a video of Mia that the orphanage sent us. We don't know when it was made but looking at the more recent photos it was probably about a year ago. Please keep her in your prayers. Our biggest concern is for her heart..her physical heart and her emotional heart as she prepares to leave the family she has lived with for 8 years and wonders about the family that is coming to get her.
