      Initially we came to Pittsburgh looking to see the Andy Warhol museum and visit the Carnegie Hall where the last lecture was given... And then we saw the sky and knew we had to find a spot for sunset. The top hit was Mount Washington. Getting there was pretty cool, the mountain side was filled with full house style houses.       ... even a tower which we could climb for views over the hills and valleys. Unfortunately the cloud limited the visibility a little but we could still see to the mountains. There was a lovely picnic area just right for our lunch.

      After lunch, it was back on the small "highways" to get on the bigger roads heading for Pittsburgh.

      Today was a BIG travel day. We traveled nearly 600 miles and crossed 3 mid-west states (Illinois, Indiana and Ohio)! We added our 21st state to our list - West Virginia as we passed through that state very briefly on our way. The trip really was smooth thanks to very good weather and light traffic. The only place we had any trouble was passing through Columbus Ohio where we hit rush hour. Even with that it wasn't too bad. ...
